Kara Annand

Kara grew up on a family farm near Moose Jaw, SK and moved to the Nipawin area in 2002. She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a major in Crop Science and a minor in Agri-business. As a Professional Agrologist, Kara has assisted farmers in cropping decisions in Saskatchewan for over a decade. Kara strives to make sure that her customers are informed on current field conditions by staying in constant contact. Using both her extensive network of industry contacts and her experience with growers, Kara is equipped to provide advice on a broad range of agronomic topics.                            

Wade Annand

Wade graduated from the College of Agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan in 2002. After working in retail, custom spraying, farming, and for Dupont as a territory manager, he focused on starting Ag Grow Consulting in 2008. Wade brings a precise and no-nonsense management style to both the business and his customers. Because agriculture is always changing and moving forward, Wade enjoys learning and helping his employees and growers to learn with him.

Lacey has worked with Ag Grow Consulting for over a decade. The business of agronomy is constantly bringing new challenges. She enjoys working closely with her customers to get through these challenges, from weather problems in the summer or a variety choice in the winter. We carefully plan together, striving to make the most profit possible. When consulting with her farm clients, she relies heavily on the contacts made while graduating with distinction from the College of Agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan. Local education, a solid network of contacts and a strong passion for agronomy is what makes Lacey a great part of the team at Ag Grow Consulting and the farm clients she works with.

Mattea Becker

Mattea grew up in Tisdale, SK. Involvement in her grandparents grain and cattle operation sparked her passion for all things agriculture. Mattea recently completed her Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from the University of Saskatchewan with a minor in Field Crop Production. Throughout university summers, she gained experience working in retail, crop scouting, and sales. Mattea looks forward to being in the field and creating long-lasting relationships with customers. During her time off she enjoys spending time outdoors snowmobiling, hunting, and camping.

Amber Boxall

Amber grew up on a grain farm near Nipawin, SK. Involvement with the family farm led to the interest of pursuing a career in agriculture and working out of Nipawin allows her to still be involved in the family farm. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan with a major in Agronomy. Throughout university she gained experience in sales and retail which helped her with product recommendations, weed identification, and pest control. Amber started with Ag Grow in May 2018 and has grown her knowledge in speciality crops, and she enjoys working with growers that like to push the envelope which welcomes new challenges on a daily basis. Amber enjoys spending time with her friends and family, whether that is spending the day on the lake fishing or being able to share her love of cooking and experimenting with new recipes.

Brooke Dudley

Brooke grew up on the family farm near Lockwood, SK. Being part of the farm from a young age, Brooke grew her interest in Agriculture and working with farmers. In the spring of 2020, Brooke graduated from University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Degree, majoring in Agronomy with a minor in Agribusiness. Brooke began her career with Ag Grow Consulting in April 2020 and looks forward to more years ahead.

Sera Labbie

Sera grew up south of Radville, SK on a mixed cattle and grain farm. Sera currently lives and works out of Yellow Grass, SK. She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in the spring of 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, majoring in Agronomy. She worked two summers with Bayer CropScience before joining Ag Grow for a summer position. After graduation she joined the Ag Grow team as a full-time employee. Sera is looking forward to building relationships with customers and providing them with agronomic advice.

Kenzie grew up in Lampman, SK, she now lives and works out of Ceylon, SK. Involvement in her family cattle and grain operation sparked her love for all things agriculture. Kenzie recently completed her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan with a major in Agronomy. Throughout university summers, she gained experience working in retail and sales. Kenzie is looking forward to being in the field expanding her knowledge and building relationships with customers. In her free time she enjoys playing softball, working with her horses, and spending time with family and friends.

Lyndsay Gadd

Lyndsay primarily works in the Moose Jaw/Pense area. Near by the farm she grew up on SE of Moose Jaw, SK. Running equipment in the spring and fall planted a deep passion leading to applying for the Crop Science program in Saskatoon. After attending the University of Saskatchewan, she worked briefly in retail where she gained her bearings in basic agronomy and input products. Shortly after graduating while others were locking down full-time jobs, she headed to Australia for 10 months where she gained international experience in agriculture. For over 5 years Lyndsay has gained experience managing over 25 000 scouting acres weekly. In addition to weekly scouting, she has developed a sharp eye for fertility. More specifically with variable rate. She has loads of hands-on experience developing solution-based fertility plans that meet farm needs. Plus, brings an edge to her progressive growers by participating in small plot research testing out ideas that push past farm limits.

Kennedy Gorse, ATechAg

Kennedy grew up on a grain farm Northeast of Carrot River, SK. Her involvement on their family farm led her to pursue a career in Agriculture. She attended the University of Saskatchewan where she received her Diploma in Agronomy in 2021. Kennedy is currently working towards becoming a Technical Agrologist through the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists. On her time off you will find her baking something in the kitchen, or spending time with friends and family. Kennedy is looking forward to expanding her knowledge out in the field and building relationships with customers.

Julie grew up on her family’s mixed farm north of Bethune, SK where she recently moved back to with her family so she can continue to be involved. Growing up on the farm made her want to pursue a career in agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan where she graduated in 2015 with a Major in Agronomy. During the summer throughout university, she gained experience working in retail and crop scouting. After graduation Julie worked as an agronomist for Blairs Family of Companies gaining experience in retail knowledge, crop scouting, pest identification, product recommendation and soil fertility. Julie stared with Ag Grow in the summer of 2020 and is looking forward to continuing to work with her customers providing them with agronomic advice.

Mason was born and raised in Melfort, SK. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan in 2023, majoring in Agronomy. Mason’s involvement on his uncles’ grain farm in southern Saskatchewan fired his passion for agriculture. He is always willing to help others and learn something new. In his spare time, Mason loves to cheer on the Toronto Blue Jays, Winnipeg Jets, and of course the Saskatchewan Roughriders!

Maren Borys

Maren grew up on her mixed family farm North of Weyburn, SK and currently resides on a mixed farm outside Midale. She has always been an active member of the farm from a young age and it spiked her interest in pursuing a career in agriculture. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan with Distinction the spring of 2017, majoring in Agronomy and minoring in Soil Science. She spent some summers at Richardson gaining experience on the retail side before starting with Ag Grow Consulting in 2015 as a summer student. After graduating she jumped right in as a full-time employee. She enjoys working hand and hand with her growers all season, developing relationships, and earning their trust.

Mackenzie grew up on the family grain farm in Naicam, SK. Working on the family farm helped grow her love for agriculture and set her path for her career as an agronomist. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan with a major in Agronomy. Throughout university she spent her 2014-2016 summers as a student agronomist here at Ag Grow Consulting. She is currently working towards her Professional Agrologist designation with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists. Mackenzie returned to work with Ag Grow in September 2020 and has since moved up to Nipawn!

Beth grew up on a farm NE of Prince Albert, SK. Her passion for agriculture came from working many summers on her family farm. In 2018, she graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a major in Agronomy. Working throughout University she gained knowledge in retail, crop scouting, farming operations and canola breeding. Beth started with Ag Grow Consulting in April of 2019 and has recently obtained her  Professional Agrologist designation with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists.

Jill has worked as an administrator in the ag industry for the past decade. Her introduction to this line of work was when she moved back to her hometown Mervin, SK after marrying Travis in 2011. While there, she worked as an administrator for Cavalier Agrow in Meota and received her bookkeeping certificate through an online SIAST program. In 2014, they relocated back to Travis’ mixed family farm in Carrot River where they live with their two children - Oliver and Eberlee. Jill is dedicated to providing quality admin and technical support for our crop scouts so that they can spend their time and focus where it needs to be - in our farmer’s fields!

Rebecca Fraser

Rebecca was raised in Moose Jaw, SK where she resides with her young family. After receiving her Office Education Certificate from SIAST in 2009, she worked in both the public and private sectors. During that time she gained 4 years of experience in the agricultural industry through administrative roles with Saskatchewan Agriculture, as well as a grain and pulse processing plant. Rebecca has been with Ag Grow since Spring 2022. She enjoys learning about agriculture from her knowledgeable colleagues, while providing them support in her role as the Administrative Assistant for our south location.

Melony Froese

Melony grew up on an acreage just outside of White Fox, SK and now lives in Nipawin. She spends most of her spare time with her friends and family or in the summer, on the golf course. She finished her Office Education course from SIAST in 2013 and has spent over 10 years in the service industry before coming to work at Ag Grow in November 2020. She is eager to learn more about the agricultural industry in order to be the best asset for both the staff and the customers at Ag Grow. She is in our north office full time Monday to Friday, so next time you pop in she will be the one to greet you at the door.
