Variable Rate Fertilization

Ag Grow Consulting offers variable rate fertility services based on soil analysis and productive capacity. Ag Grow Consulting's variable rate program is based on soil and elevation mapping. The management zones are created by driving across the field collecting soil data with our EM38 machine and elevation data with our RTK GPS beacons. A field is mapped once with our EM38 system and then soil tests are performed annually. We soil sample the zones in 0-6" and 6-24" depths and apply our local experience and your yield expectations to create a prescription for your controller.

We feel that variable rate applications of fertilizer and seed have the potential to increase profitability on your farm. This may include; moving fertilizer between the zones to generate more yield, adjusting the seeding rate to manipulate maturity, or even reducing your fertilizer bill. In season follow up is critical. Ag Grow Consulting will follow up to ensure that the sampled zones, and the fertiity recommendations we deliver, meet your expectations.
